Precinct Committee Person (PCP)
One of the most important things that takes place at each Caucus is the election of two new Precinct Committee Persons. PCPs are the representatives of the Democratic Party in your neighborhood, and serve a two-year term. Any registered Democrat is eligible to be a PCP in the precinct where she/he lives.
The primary role of a PCP is to serve as the connection between the Party and voters, and represent her/his precinct within the Party. PCPs serve on the Denver Democratic Central Committee and on the Vacancy Committees for their State House District and State Senate District. For more information about the role, please click here.

Democratic Party of Denver Platform
Precinct Caucus participants have the opportunity to contribute and help determine the planks in the Party Platform. If there is an issue you feel strongly about or a policy point you think should guide the Democratic Party, this is your chance to formalize the Party's stance on issues. Sound like a lot of work? That's why we have a Denver County Platform Committee.
