If you are registering for an event, purchasing event or raffle tickets, or making a general donation, during the registration process, we collect registration information from our users, including name, email, address and telephone number, and billing information such as credit card number and expiration date. Each of these different types of information is used to provide our services. Registration information is used to provide updates and disseminate news, and billing information is used to charge your credit or debit card, authenticate you as a user, and verify a valid payment source.
The Democratic Party of Denver may also collect and analyze from visitors and users certain information regarding the use of our website and track activity. Information collected may include but is not limited to web site traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browser and operating system, etc. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, administer the site, and improve our quality. We may provide non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information derived from the actions of our visitors and customers to third parties in order to demonstrate the value we deliver to users.

Affiliated Uses We Do Not Control: The Democratic Party of Denver is registered with the Colorado Secretary of State as The Denver Democratic Central Committee. We are a subsidiary of the Colorado Democratic Party, which in turn operates under the Democratic National Committee. In certain situations, these other, separate organizations may utilize our information to keep our users informed of state and/or national Party news and information.
Agents: We are a volunteer-based organization with one paid, part-time employee. We rely on our volunteers as agents to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide information and services to you. Examples include sending email, analyzing data, and providing user services. Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use personal information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.
With Your Consent: Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your personally identifiable individual information may be shared with third parties, and will be given the option to prevent the sharing of this information.
The Democratic Party of Denver uses browser cookies to assist in delivering our services and to provide a positive and personalized user experience. The Democratic Party of Denver has implemented processes designed to protect user information and maintain security. Volunteers and some Central Committee members who are registered users are each assigned a unique user name and password that is required to access their user information. It is the user's responsibility to protect the security of their login information. The Democratic Party of Denver's servers are located in secure server environments. Firewalls and other security technologies are employed to prevent interference or access from outside intruders, however, The Democratic Party of Denver cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
Each authorized email sent by The Democratic Party of Denver provides our address and contact information, as well as links for you to opt out of receiving email communications. If you utilize these opt-out features, please be aware that The Democratic Party of Denver may for a time retain residual information in our backup and/or archival copies of our database. The Democratic Party of Denver may also provide user contact information to our volunteers for such purposes as canvassing, reaching out during our Get Out the Vote efforts, inviting you to certain events and informational sessions, and requesting participation to further our mission. We will do our very best to honor your verbal and written requests not to be contacted, however, to the extent this information is located at the Denver Elections Commission, the Secretary of State, within the Voter Action Network database, or from other sources, we have no control over our volunteers, candidates, issue committees, elected officials, or others who may contact you for other Democratic, voter-related, or their own purposes.
Information Regarding Children
As an organization specifically geared towards registered voters, The Democratic Party of Denver does not target our information and offerings toward, and does not knowingly collect any personal information from users under 18 years of age.
